Set up a food truck POS before lunch.
Five stops, honest times, no installer. Here's the whole road from sign-up to the first sale.

Setup questions
Sign up online, create your business, add your truck as a location and a register, add your menu and ring a test sale. There is nothing to install; it runs in the browser or the mobile app. Your online store appears as soon as your items are saved. The 30-day free trial needs no card, so you can do all of this before paying anything.
Creating the account takes about 2 minutes, adding your business, truck and register about 4, and a 20-item menu around 15 if you type it in. The online store is ready the moment items are saved, and a test sale takes a couple of minutes. Those are typical times; bigger menus or lots of modifiers take longer. Most owners finish in one sitting.
You need a phone, tablet or laptop with a data connection, your menu with prices, and an email address. Photos of your top items, your tax rate and your staff list help but can come later. You do not need a card processor to start; you can set up and ring test sales first, then connect your processor's reader before taking real card payments.
Yes. If your menu is in a spreadsheet or another POS, you can import it, and our onboarding team can help if you get stuck. Book a short menu import session through the contact form and we will reply with a time in your timezone. The /help/import-your-menu/ guide covers the file format and how to check items after import.
Pick your country and set your tax rate or tax group in settings. For the USA that is your state and local sales tax, for the UAE 5% VAT, and for Pakistan the provincial sales tax that applies to you. Tax rules are set by your tax authority, so confirm the rate with them or your accountant. See /help/set-up-taxes-by-country/.
Set up the reader with your processor first, then follow /help/connect-a-card-reader/ to use it alongside the POS on your device. We do not process cards, so the reader and its account come from your processor. Test a small card sale before your first service. If your processor offers an offline mode on the reader, ask them how it works.
Yes, and you should. Ring a few test sales with cash and card, open and close the register, and look at the end-of-day report so nothing surprises you at the window. Run through it at the spot you will park, to check the signal there. The 30-day free trial gives you time to try a full event weekend before you pay.
No. It is built for truck owners, not IT teams. If you can post on Instagram, you can add a menu and ring a sale. The help guides walk through each step in plain language, and support replies within one business day in English, Arabic, Urdu or Spanish. Our onboarding team can also help with menu imports.
Pick a plan and keep going with everything you set up during the trial: menu, customers, sales history and your online store. Since no card is needed to start, nothing is charged automatically; if you do not choose a plan, the trial simply ends. You can compare plans on /pricing/ or ask us which one fits your truck.
