Builds the truck edition
Decides what goes on the quick menu, the close-out report and the today's-spot post, and what stays out so the window stays fast.
We took a full restaurant and retail point-of-sale, cut it down to what happens at a window, and built up the parts trucks need that shops don't.
Food trucks were being sold software built for somebody else: dining rooms with tables, or retail shops with barcodes.
A truck's day is different. The spot changes. The signal changes. The menu is short and the line is long. The owner is also the cook, the driver and the marketing department. So GetFoodTruckPOS is the edition of our point-of-sale that defaults to a quick menu, cash and card on one register, a close-out you can do in minutes, and a store that tells customers where you parked today.
It is part of the SmartPOS Hub family: one hosted software, with editions for restaurants, cafes, bakeries, diners and more. The editions share the engine and differ in what they put in front of you. We sell and support the truck edition in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan, in English, Arabic, Urdu and Spanish.
It needs signal. It is not a card processor. It does not file your taxes. Owners decide better with the limits in plain view.
A cart in Karachi and a truck in Austin do not have the same budget, so they do not pay the same price.
Every feature has to earn a place on a phone screen at rush. Dining-room features stay off truck plans.
You will not see invented customer counts, ratings or awards here. Reviews are labelled samples until real ones arrive.
Named profiles go up once the team is confirmed for launch. Until then, here is who does what.

GetFoodTruckPOS is part of the SmartPOS Hub family of point-of-sale sites, each built for one kind of business. This one is for food trucks, carts and pop-up vendors in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan. A product team decides what goes on the quick menu and the close-out report, an onboarding team helps get menus in, and a support team answers in four languages.
Because trucks have problems a restaurant POS treats as edge cases: a new location most days, patchy signal, one or two people at the window, a commissary feeding the truck, and customers who need to know where you are today. GetFoodTruckPOS puts today's spot, the quick menu and the close-out report front and center, and keeps the rest out of the way.
No. GetFoodTruckPOS does not process cards and takes 0% of your card sales. It works with your own processor and reader, so you keep the rate you negotiated and your money goes straight from your processor to your bank. We charge a flat plan price for the software. That separation is deliberate: you can switch processors without switching POS.
The truck edition and this site are new, and we would rather say so than invent a history. The software underneath is a mature, hosted point-of-sale platform, and we have shaped it for trucks: the quick menu, today's spot posts, the auto online store and commissary transfers. Try it for 30 days with no card and judge it on a real service.
We are an online business serving the USA, the UAE and Pakistan, with support hours set in each market's time zone. Postal addresses and registration details for each market are published on this site once they are confirmed. Until then, the fastest way to reach a person is the form on /contact/, which routes your message to the right market team.
SmartPOS Hub is a group of point-of-sale sites, each focused on one business type, built on the same hosted platform. For you it means the truck edition gets fixes and improvements made across the whole family, while the setup, guides and support stay specific to trucks. You sign up, pay and get support through GetFoodTruckPOS.
Yes. Besides the POS, we offer a managed website: a custom truck website we build and look after, with menu, schedule and catering pages. It does not need the POS. The Full Rig bundle combines the Truck plan, the managed website and a marketing automation snapshot for catering leads and reviews. See /managed-website/ and /bundle/.
We look at what slows owners down at the window and at close-out. Requests from trial users and customers go to the product team, which weighs them against keeping the quick menu fast. Not every request makes it in: if a feature would add taps for every truck to help a few, we usually say no. Send ideas through /contact/.
Yes. Book a 20 minute live demo on a phone through /contact/ and we will reply with a time in your time zone. Bring your menu and questions about your card reader, taxes or commissary. If you run more than one truck, ask for the fleet and commissary walkthrough instead. There is no sales pressure: the trial is 30 days and needs no card.
Sign up, add your truck and your menu, and ring a test sale before your next service.
