The software supports many currencies and tax setups, and a Saudi Arabia ZATCA e-invoicing add-on exists for businesses there. We sell and support the truck edition in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan only for now, so pricing, payments advice and support hours are built for those three. If you're elsewhere, tell us and we'll say honestly whether it fits.

Language is a separate choice from country: see languages in the app and on receipts.

Country and tax questions

GetFoodTruckPOS is built and priced for three markets: the USA, the UAE and Pakistan. Each market gets its own currency, tax setup, receipt layout and date format, plus pricing set for that market. Trucks outside these three can still sign up and configure currency and taxes by hand, but our guides, payment method notes and support hours are written for the three markets we serve. See /countries/ for the details per market.

Yes. Each business sets its currency, so a truck in Austin sells in USD, a truck in Dubai sells in AED and a cart in Lahore sells in PKR. Prices, receipts, reports and the online store all show that currency. If you run trucks in two countries, the cleanest setup is one business per country, so taxes and reports stay separate and your accountant in each market sees only what belongs to them.

You set tax rates and tax groups once, and every sale applies them. In the USA that means your state and local sales tax, which can change when you park in a different city. In the UAE you set VAT at 5%. In Pakistan you set the provincial sales tax that applies to you. GetFoodTruckPOS calculates and reports tax, but it does not file returns. Filing works with your accountant or tax software. Check current rates with your tax authority.

Yes, and this is common for trucks. Create a tax group for each city or county you serve, then pick the right one when you post today's spot or switch it on the register before service. Your tax report then shows what you collected under each rate, which makes filing much easier. Rates change, so confirm them with your state revenue department rather than relying on last year's number.

Yes. Receipt layouts can be set per business so they show what customers and inspectors expect in your market: business name, tax registration number where you have one, tax lines, currency and date in the local format. In the UAE you can show your TRN and VAT line. Receipts can print on a thermal printer or go out by email or a share link. Check your local rules for anything else a receipt must carry.

Yes. Date format, time format, decimal separator and currency symbol placement are business settings. A US truck usually runs month, day, year with a 12-hour clock. Many UAE and Pakistan owners prefer day, month, year. Reports and receipts follow whatever you set, so the close-out report reads the way your staff and accountant expect. You can change it later without touching past sales.

A ZATCA e-invoicing add-on exists for businesses selling in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is not one of our three core markets, so our guides, local pricing and support hours are not set up for it yet. If you run trucks in Saudi Arabia, contact us through /contact/ and we will tell you honestly what the add-on covers and whether it fits your setup before you commit to anything.

In the USA, GetFoodTruckPOS works with cash and cards, including Apple Pay and Google Pay through your processor's reader. In the UAE it works with cards, Apple Pay and cash. In Pakistan it works with cash, cards, and JazzCash, Easypaisa and bank transfer recorded as custom payment methods. We never process the money ourselves, so you keep your own processor or wallet account and its rates.

Yes. Plans are priced per market in local currency, so a cart in Karachi is not paying a US price converted at today's exchange rate. Every market gets the same 30-day free trial with no card and the same month to month terms. The current numbers for the USA, the UAE and Pakistan are on /pricing/, and each country page shows its own pricing table.
